This has been paired up with Canadian wild cherry for the back and sides and finished with a semi gloss custom polished finish. The S8 gets a desirable upgrade in 2017 with the inclusion of a Seagull proprietary preamp, with volume and tone controls conveniently placed on the mandolin's top. The Sunburst Seagull S8 Mandolin EQ is a beautifully crafted instrument with its own unique design.
